I’m on my way back out the door, I spent this afternoon on our neighbor’s pontoon, fishing and swimming (I am lobster!) and now we’re having a cookout, so I have to scoot! I put up some new designs today- one is already sold (the ivory heart) and I plan on doing more of these mixed media pieces. Hope you find something you like, I’m going to eat ribs…

I’ve got newwwww skulls on Etsy! Now, the new skulls don’t mean that I’m not making the calaveras anymore, so don’t worry…LOL I really wanted to incorporate the tattoos into my glass, and the new skulls are a great mix of the two arts. Here’s a quick slideshow of all the new goodies on Etsy- I’m headed out to fish, and I smell something grilling! Hopefully it’s a friendly neighbor… I’m going to find out! LOL

An innocent ball toss, into a sundae cup, floating on water… floating in circles… An 11 year old boy with a basket of 12 ping pong balls. On his first toss, my son actually made it into a cup (I feared he’d make all 12 tosses!) and this is what he won…

I thought OHHHH NOOOO!!! LOL But he was so excited, and this bunny is ‘his’ bunny- which means that Mom will still take care of it and love it to pieces when he’s not home, but he can tell his sister that she can’t touch it. *sigh* But no, I’ve told him he can’t keep his sister from the new bunny. New bunny and Foo Foo, our already at home bunny, are working on dominant status- and the new bunny? Male. Foo Foo? Female. AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! LOL

He has pretty eyeliner, eyebrows and a moustache- I think he should be named Pikachu So, we’re getting a new bunny house and goodies for the baby this week… where we’re going to PUT all this, I have no idea!

And beads… Woo hoo! There’s been quite a ruckus over on LE about an Etsy seller who was fraudulently selling beads- it brought about a lot of interest in making dot/egg beads, so I jumped in on this because I really needed some dot practice. I haven’t made these style beads in a long time, so it was a LOT of fun- and I got to use a lot of silver, which I haven’t played with for a while. They came out really medieval, I think, so I named them all after Shakespearean characters

On the homefront, the boy is doing much much better, Father’s Day was GREAT… we had a good time at the in-laws’ house and good presents made the rounds. Afterwards, we decided to run to Big R (my daughter tells a joke.. where do pirates shop? Big Rrrrrrrr!) to exchange Brian’s fishing line for a heavier weight, and we went the long way around, passing a medical supply house. Outside by the dumpster were five exam tables with motorized beds (lift and lower), drawers and cabinets and outlets… There was a storm coming, so we hurried to call his dad to meet us there with the Suburban- no way would one of those fit in my car trunk! LOL They all had flaws and miscellaneous problems, but I picked one with a pristine vinyl cover on the bed and clean drawers (we all love clean drawers!)…
Rain was coming, big time- dark clouds, lightning, and we were outside lifting a 400lb exam table off of another one. Took Dad about half an hour to get there (he had to take the back seat out), and by the time he got there, we were SOAKED to the bone, wind whipping, lightning crashing… The things I’ll do to get a quality piece of tattooing furniture, I tell ya! Dad’s driving around with it in his Suburban until he can get down here to drop it off, and when he does, I’ll have to refurb it a little, but… I have an exam table to do tattoos on! Yippee!!!!
